The Ashton House Way is coming to Dunham-on-the-Hill
Opening 1 September 2027
Our third Ashton House Nursery is coming to Dunham-on-the-Hill, bringing our outdoor-led, Reggio-inspired approach and Forest School ethos to a beautiful new setting.
A new place to grow, explore and belong
For almost 40 years, Ashton House has created environments where children are encouraged to explore, develop independence, build confidence and experience the freedom of childhood.
In September 2027, we're bringing the Ashton House Way to Dunham-on-the-Hill.
Our new nursery will combine thoughtfully designed indoor environments with expansive outdoor spaces, creating a place where children can investigate, create, take appropriate risks and follow their natural curiosity.

Building Dunham
Follow the journey as our newest Ashton House Nursery comes to life.
Dunham-on-the-Hill is currently undergoing an exciting transformation. Over the coming months, we'll be sharing the journey as we create inspiring indoor environments, develop our outdoor spaces and prepare to welcome our first Dunham families in September 2027.
The Journey Begins
Right now, work is underway to prepare Dunham for its transformation. Inside, the building is being carefully taken back to its core structure, creating the foundations from which our new nursery will begin to take shape. Outside, the grounds are being opened up and thoughtfully developed, revealing the space and potential of the site.
There is a long way to go, but this is where the exciting part begins. Over the coming months, we will be sharing the transformation as these spaces become thoughtfully designed rooms and inspiring outdoor environments, with new planting, habitats and opportunities for biodiversity woven into the landscape, creating a place for both children and nature to thrive.
