We have created a home-from-home environment in our baby room and our babies receive the greatest care.

They have lots of fun and variety in their days and staff always have time for a cuddle. They love painting, messy play and playing with bubbles. The staff take the children for walks around the nursery grounds and village where there is lots to see and enjoy.

The children can explore a range of activities including those that promote physical development and sensory play. They can play outside on mats on the yard with bricks, treasure baskets and toys. The children like looking at picture books and sitting with staff on our comfy chairs for a story, but their favourite of all is singing. They love it when we sing to them and like to join in with action songs and clapping rhymes.

We have a flexible routine in Ladybirds which enables us to fit in with the routine already established for baby at home. Our babies sleep outside in traditional prams, weather permitting and we find that they always sleep better in the fresh air.
All feeds, sleeps and changes are recorded on our daily charts throughout the day and staff are always available to talk to parents at the end of each day.
