Bumbles is the first of our toddler rooms. In Bumbles the children love to get messy! They like painting, jelly play, sand and water play and their favourite of all is gloop (a mixture of cornflour and water) which they love to pour over their hands and in and out of containers.

The children are free to choose from a selected range of activities such as drawing, construction and imaginative play. These activities are changed several times a day to encourage the children’s all round development.
The children also enjoy structured activities such as baking and collage where staff can work on a one to one basis or in small groups with the children.

We take the children for lots of walks outside and around the grounds. Some children have a ride in our pull along carts and others will go in pushchairs. The children enjoy exploring their play area, especially in the sand pit.

All sleeps, feeds and changes are recorded and given to parents at the end of the day. We provide cots for sleeps and traditional prams for those who prefer them. Our staff work in partnership with parents to ensure each child is settled and happy at nursery.
