Our outdoor creative space is exceptional. We have six acres of inspirational outdoor learning.

We have carefully developed our large outdoor creative space to give our children endless opportunities to fully explore their natural surroundings. Our environment provides varied learning opportunities so that every child’s individuality is promoted.

Children are provided with safe and wide boundaries outdoors where they are physically active and learn to take risks, which brings huge benefits for their confidence, self-esteem and fitness levels.

Children love to go outside in all weathers and rainy and snowy days are enjoyed with wellies and appropriate clothing. We have designated welly storage areas for quick access to the outside. The nursery provides all staff with their own warm, waterproof coat to support children’s outdoor activities.

Our outdoor space is stocked with a wide range of recyclable and natural materials including large pieces of wood, planks, crates, guttering, pipes, boxes and buckets, which encourage children to develop their creativity.

A key part of our culture is to encourage children to learn to ride a bike and all staff show a great willingness to support children to learn. We see huge benefits in children’s confidence and self esteem when they learn to ride a bike.
